In 1992, a group of women came together as the Chatty Country Quilters of St. Matthew's. We meet two Mondays a month and primarily make small quilts as baptismal gifts for children up to the age of three. Larger quilts are given to local charities.
In 2025, the group has rebooted and are now known as the Piecemakers. They meet on the second and fourth Mondays of the month.
